The late great songwriter Leonard Cohen felt he was ‘paying my rent every day in the tower of song’. You’ll be relieved to hear we don’t need your rent as often as that!
Our residents pay their rent monthly or quarterly. You’ll make your first payment by bank transfer, and then choose one of these easy methods for your rent payments:
1 Pension deduction
This is our preferred option. It’s the simplest and most convenient way. All you need to do is complete and return a consent form. Rent will be deducted from your pension and sent to us, and you’ll receive the remainder of your pension as usual. If your pension is not sufficient to have the rent deducted, you can pay by standing order.
2 Standing Order
You can either set this up with your bank online or ask us for forms to take along to the bank in person. We ask our residents to pay quarterly, but if this causes you financial difficulties we can allow a monthly payment, due on the 1st of every month.
If there’s anything you’d like to ask about these payment methods, you’re welcome to call the Finance department on 020 3848 6020 option 3. We’ll be glad to help.
